Remote Spanish Tutor for Kids

Do you have a passion to help kids who are eager to learn Spanish? If so, we'd love to have you on our team. This is a remote class for two months starting April with high chance of extension

Background

California has one of the highest Spanish speaking population in the country, However, not many students in public schools can access to Spanish classes as much as want and need. At Orange Note, we strive to support kids to follow their passion to learn Spanish regardless of resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create teaching plan and materials: Slides for the class

  • Teach Live Lesson once a week: 5 PM on Fridays (PST)

  • Create assignments and provide feedback to students via Google Classroom

  • Send emails on a weekly basis to remind assignments

About You

  • Can teach Spanish preferably in Spanish

  • Teaching experience kids via Zoom (preferred)

  • Clear communication and fun-loving!

  • Compassion with children and high moral values

  • Note: we record the videos and upload to YT for students

What we provide you with

  • This is a fantastic role for anyone looking to either go into the private or non-profit sectors. You will have

    • Community service hours to serve the local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization

    • Learning professional project management while working directly with certified project manager

    • The class recording video will be a great addition to the professional portfolio

Education

  • Minimum High school Diploma and should be + 18 years old.
