About Class
Ruth will guide individuals in mastering TinkerCAD for crafting diverse designs. Students will acquire the skills to express their creativity proficiently through TinkerCAD. Each session introduces a new design, coupled with a review of the previous class, ensuring everyone is on track and feels confident progressing.
About Instructor
Meet Ruth Makara, a high school junior from New Jersey, deeply passionate about engineering and robotics. For the past three years, she has been a dedicated member of the robotics team "Red Watch - 2720," contributing significantly to its success. Ruth's journey into design began in 7th grade with computer-aided design (CAD), sparking a keen interest in 3D design and leading her to explore various technologies such Blender, OnShape, and TinkerCAD.

About Instructor
Dr. Hyung Bae is an assistant professor at Howard University and teaches mechanical engineering subjects: microfabrication, computer aided design, and computer aided engineering.
In his free time, “ I work on the cars, house, and computers with various small projects. For many of my projects, I design custom items or parts using 3D modeling software and printed them using the 3D printers I have.”
About Class
This will be 1-hour remote workshop: Students will have hands- on experience to learn 3D modeling using TinkerCad.(Signup Free). Once registration confirmed, Dr. Bae will assign students with nicknames so they can join the classroom using the classroom code.
