Volunteer Art Instructor for Kids (Remote)

About the Position

There are not many public schools that provide Arts classes here in California.  We believe every child are born to be creative and they lose it when growing up.  We think Art and Design is a fundamental skill that can benefit all students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create Project based teaching plan ( for 3-4 sessions)

  • Teach Live Zoom Session once a week. (1 hour)

  • Create assignments and provide feedback to students via Google Classroom

  • Attend the weekly meeting (15 min)

About You

  • Teaching experience kids via Zoom (preferred)

  • Clear communication and fun-loving!

Compassion with children and high moral values

Skills 

  • Clear communication that students can follow along easily in a remote environment

  • Art, Craft project portfolio: we love recycled art that children can easily find anywhere

  • Experience in creating comics, cartoons, logo, calligraphy are desired, though not required.

    • Community service hours to serve the local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization

    • Learning professional project management while working directly with certified project manager

Education

  • Minimum High school Diploma or Equivalent
